Vitamin C is an effective antioxidant and its pure form of L-Ascorbic Acid has been shown to reverse multiple signs of skin ageing while brightening the skin when applied topically. The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% provides 23% pure L-Ascorbic Acid which remains completely stable due to the absence of water. The system is supported with addition of dehydrated spheres of Hyaluronic Acid to offer visible surface smoothing alongside the benefits of Vitamin C.

Why does The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% feel gritty?
As this contains a powder in a suspension, the formulation has a slightly gritty sensation on the skin. This will dissolve after a few seconds, with total absorption in 10-20 seconds. If desired, you can dilute this product in a cream base to allow the skin to build tolerance, and also alleviate the texture. How do I use The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%?
Apply a small amount to face in the AM or the PM (PM preferred). Avoid contact with the eyes. A tingling sensation can be expected after application. If the sensation is too strong to tolerate, the formula can be mixed on each application with other creams or serums of your preference. If irritation occurs, cease use and consult a physician. Use only as directed on unbroken skin. Patch testing prior to use is advised. Keep out of reach of children.
Is this the right Vitamin C from The Ordinary for me?
This is Vitamin C in it's purest form, but this can be irritating to more sensitive skin types. If you have sensitive skin, you may want to opt for a more gentle formula. Otherwise, The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2% can be used by all skin types.

We suggest this product be used within 12 months after opening.
